The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

The LDS church (a.k.a. Mormon church) was restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith April 6th, 1830. I say restore because it's important to note that we, the members of this church, believe that the LDS church existed long before Joseph Smith came along. We believe it is Christ's church as he intends it to be. The Restoration, as we call it, refers to the events in which pure revelation and guidance allowed Joseph Smith to rebuild Christ's kingdom on earth.

I don't plan to give a large description of my religion here on my site. My purpose is simply to introduce it so that I might refer to it throughout my website. If anyone is interested in more information, I strongly suggest visiting the official LDS site.
